My name is Ale Puro, and I live and work in Vigevano, Italy.My artistic journey began with a fascination for the world of graffiti: I started painting murals under the pseudonym PURO, exploring the expressive potential of lettering and visual language.
While studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, I became deeply involved in both street art and illustration, two disciplines that have gradually merged into my personal artistic research. My work is born from this blend — simple, poetic images inhabited by characters who live in a world suspended between dream and reality.
My style, inspired by children’s book illustrations and their gentle storytelling, reflects a positive and imaginative vision that I bring to my work on walls, canvases, and objects, as well as in collaborative projects with schools, companies, and public spaces.
Over the years, I have collaborated with various national and international organizations, taking part in exhibitions, festivals, and collective art projects.
